Tooth extraction

EXTRACTION (FORCEP)

Extraction or tooth removal is minor oral surgery procedure done routinely in our clinic by the use of forceps. This is usually the last option after all have been done to save the tooth. However most patient resort to remove because of myth associated tooth decay and also for financial reasons. It is a mean to an end, which is relief from either chronic or acute dental pain.

10. SURGICAL (WISDOM TOOTH/ROOT EXTRACTION)

Surgical Extraction are often indicated for wisdom tooth (last Molar) removal or a badly decay tooth with crown completely gone and leaving behind the root. Sometimes radiographic evidence could necessitate surgical extraction. The procedure involve lifting the gums from the underlying bone to expose it and removal some bone mass around the tooth to free it from it’s socket.
